Limited warranty

SJG Watches and Accessories agrees to cover this product against any manufacturer’s defects for a period between one to six months as per the specifications of this Warranty from the delivery date. Products returned due to manufacturer’s defects during the limited warranty period are subject to Management’s inspection. Management reserves the right to make the final decision.
This warranty hereby specifically covers materials and manufacturing defects, the watch movement, hands and dial only.
For SMART products, the product itself and accessories included in the packaging are covered by this Warranty from defects in material and workmanship under normal use for a period of for a period between one to six months as per the specifications of this Warranty from delivery date.

 

What is not covered?

This warranty excludes defects caused by abuse, misuse, neglect, damage resulting from improper use and handling, lack of care and accidents. Physical damage (including cracks and scratches) to the surface of the Product resulting from misuse is not covered.
This warranty excludes water damage if the product has not been cared for in accordance with its recommended water resistance levels. Contact with water, liquid, rain (outside of the product’s recommended water resistance level) causing damage to the product is not covered by this warranty.
Normal wear and tear and periodic maintenance (inclusive of battery changes) are not covered by this warranty.
Watch bands, straps or bracelets (including plating on the case and/or bracelet) are also not covered by this warranty.
This limited warranty does not cover products that are in good, functional and working condition.
For SMART products, defects or damage resulting from use of non-certified products, accessories or software are excluded from coverage. Any defect in battery, case, screen/crystal, strap or bracelet (inclusive of plating on the case and/or bracelet) are not covered.
Others acts which are not found to be the fault of SJG Watches and Accessories are also not covered by this warranty.
This limited warranty also does not cover any additional warranty stated or implied by the manufacturer.

DISCLAIMER : Color

Actual product colour may vary from the images displayed. Every monitor or mobile display has a different capacity to display colours, and perception of these colours via various devices may vary from person to person. Lighting conditions at the time the photo was taken may also affect the image colour.
SJG Watches and Accessories cannot guarantee that the colour any given individual sees accurately reflects the true colour of the product.
However, we are committed to ensuring that our photos are as lifelike as possible and portray our merchandise in a most accurate and realistic manner.

Prices

We try our best to maintain our prices at the most competitive level locally. However, fluctuations in import duties, supplier prices and many other factors will affect the final price to customers. These affect the final price immaterially in most cases. Prices are therefore subject to change where necessary and noted.

How to obtain warranty service?

To send your watch in for repairs, please visit us at our Gasparillo Mall branch or make an official request by contacting us via our Facebook/Instagram pages or Whatsapp/Telephone within the specified warranty period.
For items bought via delivery , the product can also be collected via courier at the initial delivery location, at no cost to the customer.
A seven (7) business day wait period on returned products due to manufacturer’s defects applies while the product is reviewed and/or serviced. Sometimes, this period may be extended due to various factors and the customer will be duly notified of such.
Once the product has met the requirements of this Limited Warranty, the covered components will be repaired for free or the watch will be replaced if it proves to be defective in material or workmanship under normal use. Replaced items may be of a different model/brand, if the defective product’s model is not available but will be of equal or similar value. If a faulty item is replaced by an item of greater value, the customer is responsible for the difference in price. Cash refunds as a result of confirmed and unfixable (by our repair specialist) manufacturer’s defect will be at the discretion of Management on a case-by-case basis.
If SJG Watches and Accessories determines that any product returned due to a claimed manufacturer’s defects is not covered by this Limited Warranty, the customer will be required to pay all of the repair, labour and delivery charges incurred.

Returns / exchange policy

Exchanges are allowable within 7 business days of purchase/delivery once items are in original condition with all tags attached and returned in their original packaging including accessories, extra links, manuals, warranty cards and anything else which accompanied the item. Returns are exchanged for store credit or items of similar value. If the value of the item(s) that you wish to exchange exceeds the value of your returned item(s), you will be charged the difference.
Please return to our kiosk at the Gasparillo Mall.
Delivery fees are non-refundable except for defective or wrongly shipped items.

How to care for my watch?

SJG Watches and Accessories takes pride in providing high-quality merchandise to our customers. In order to maintain product quality, ensure to frequently remove accumulated dirt and debris on surfaces using a soft, dry cloth. Be mindful against using abrasive materials or cleaning solutions on products as this may cause deterioration of exterior with extended application. Do not press on watch faces forcefully to prevent accidental breaks. Do not use any liquid or solution when cleaning non-water-resistant timepieces. Waterproof timepieces may be cleaned by using a preparation of water and mild soap, using a soft cloth or cleaning brush with soft bristles. Apply gentle pressure when cleaning in order to avoid water seeping inside the piece, causing permanent damage to the watch. Thoroughly dry and store in a safe place. Avoid using strong detergents on leather or fabric bands.
Practice removing your watch prior to taking a shower. Although a timepiece may be water-resistant, it may not be able to withstand extremes in temperature. Heat may cause expansion of gaskets which may result in the loosening of seals responsible for the prevention of water entering the watch interior. Damage to timepiece may not become apparent until the watch functioning has been severely and irreversibly compromised.
It is not recommended to perform tasks which bring the timepiece in close proximity to abrasive chemical agents such as household cleaning supplies, industrial fluids and lubricants or any abrasive solvent or solution, as exposure may cause superficial damage to the exterior of timepiece or negatively impact its functionality.

Water resistance levels

3 BAR / 3 ATM / 30 m / 100 ft:
Timepiece can withstand accidental splashes.
5 BAR / 5 ATM / 50 m / 165 ft:
Timepiece can withstand splashes, shower and is suitable for swimming. Not suitable for water sports, pool-side diving or sea diving.
10 BAR / 10 ATM / 100 m / 330 ft:
Timepiece suitable for swimming and snorkelling, but not suitable for aqua diving or high board diving.
20 BAR / 20 ATM / 200 m / 660 ft:
Timepiece is suitable for swimming, high-impact water sports and scuba diving.
Greater than 30 BAR / 30 ATM/ 300 m / 990 ft:
Timepiece suitable for all high-impact water sports, scuba-diving and saturation diving.

Note: Prolonged intermediate to rigorous exposure of water-resistant timepieces to water would reduce the capacity of seals to prevent leakage of fluid into its interior and reduce the useful life of the product over time.

Can I cancel my order?

Orders cancelled within 24 hours of placing an order will not attract a cancellation fee.
Orders cancelled after 24 hours of placing an order, will attract a 5% cancellation fee on future orders as the order would have already been dispatched and en route to order destination.
Orders cancelled upon delivery will attract a 5% cancellation fee on futures orders and customer will be required to remit the delivery fee for the current order to the courier on arrival

Can I custom order a watch?
